Guaranty Trust Bank, today joined the line-up of sponsors for the Hands-On Nigeria project launch taking place on the UN International Volunteer Day – 5th December, 2014 in Calabar, Cross River State. Confirming their willingness to sponsor the event, the bank’s CSR Officer, Tolulope Onipede had this to say “it is a laudable initiative which we would wish to be part of and we will be supporting it”.
Guaranty Trust Bank joins a lineup of other sponsors including the South-South Entrepreneurial Development Centre, SmartGov.CRSG, the iDEA Incubation Centre and AIS Technomart.
The Hands-On Nigeria project shall be launched at an event to mark the UN International Volunteer Day. The project aims to create a platform for mutually beneficial collaboration between volunteers, NGOs and companies for social good and economic development.
In addition to a keynote address to be delivered by Prof. Pat Utomi, the event shall feature a panel discussion featuring renowned actress Kate Henshaw, blogger and political commentator Japheth Omojuwa and Cross River State Commissioner for Women Affairs Edak Iwuchukwu. The discussion shall be moderated by author and nation-building Evangelist Bobby Udoh.
